Apple’s WWDC 2012 Keynote to be Held on June 11 at 10 AM Pacific

As expected, Apple has just announced that WorldWide Developer Conference 2012 Keynote will be held on June 11 at 10:00 am Pacific time.

The Loop also reports that Apple has also started sending invitations to the media for the event.

Apple hasn't mentioned who will be giving the keynote speech, but we expect Tim Cook to give it this year. Apple is widely expected to give us a sneak peak at iOS 6 - the next generation mobile operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and also give a preview of OS X Mountain Lion.

It remains to be seen if Apple will also unveil the next generation MacBook Pros, which are rumored to come with Retina Displays.

Apple has also released the free WWDC iOS app (App Store link), which gives attendees easy access to the Conference schedule, help them plan their week and also keep in touch with the latest news from the Conference. The tickets for the WWDC were sold out in less than 2 hours this year
