Apple has announced today that iPhone 4S will be finally available in China and 21 new countries on January 13th.
The new launch countries includes
Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin
Islands, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, China,
Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Grenada, Guam, Guinea Conakry,
Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Niger,
Senegal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and
Caicos and Uganda.
“Customer response
to our products in China has been off the charts,” said . “With the
launch in China next week, iPhone 4S will be available in over 90
countries making this our fastest iPhone rollout ever.”
We're
not sure if iPhone 4S will be available for pre-order in these new
countries on January 6th. We'll keep you posted if we get any further
updates.
iPhone 4S first went on sale in US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and UK two weeks back on October 14th.
It then went on sale in 22 more
countries including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania,
Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia,
Spain, Sweden and Switzerland on October 28th.
Apple then went on to launch the new
iPhone in 15 more countries including Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El
Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand,
Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea on November 11th,
followed by a soft launch in India on November 25th and in Brazil, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Taiwan on December 18th.
