iPhone 4S Coming to Brazil, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, South Africa, Malaysia, Philippines on Dec 16th

Apple has been slowly rolling out its new iPhone more and more countries.

Many carriers in Brazil, Russia, and Saudi Arabia (among others) have marked down December 16th on their calendars.

After Apple's first few offerings to other countries, they've been very low-key about subsequent availabilities of the iPhone 4S.

Carriers and retail partners, on the other hand, have taken over to generate more local awareness to boost sales. The Brazilian carrier Claro has an ad up on their website pointing to December 16th. Russian retailer Digital.ru has followed suit.

MacRumors has a short list of countries that are advertising upcoming iPhone 4S availability:

It remains to be seen when Apple will launch iPhone 4S in China, the world's largest mobile phone market, where we hear Apple has cleared one of the final hurdles to launch their new iPhone.
